Sex Therapy in Washington, DC: For People Who Are Used to Doing the Work
DC attracts a specific kind of person: intellectually engaged, professionally driven, highly functional in public — and often carrying a lot more than they let on in private. The couples I work with from DC aren't struggling because they don't understand their relationship. They're struggling because understanding something and changing it are two different things, and the tools that work in every other area of their lives don't always translate into the bedroom or the living room at the end of a long day.
There's also a particular privacy calculus that DC residents navigate. In a city where professional reputation is everything, walking into a therapist's office in your neighborhood — or running into a colleague in a waiting room — can feel like too much exposure. Telehealth from your home, your office, or wherever you have thirty minutes of privacy isn't a compromise. For most of my DC clients, it's actually preferable.
DC is also one of the most diverse and politically conscious cities in the country, and that shows up in therapy. I work with clients across a wide range of identities, relationship structures, and cultural backgrounds — and I bring the same non-judgmental, affirming approach regardless of who you are or what you're bringing into the room. If you've been looking for a therapist who can hold all of that, I'd love to connect.

Q: What are your fees?
A: My fees for a 90-minute couple’s intake are $360, a 55-minute individual intake is $225, and all subsequent sessions (couples OR individual) are $225.
Q: Are you licensed to see clients in this state?
A: Yes — I hold licensure to practice in Washington, DC through PsyPact, which allows me to provide psychology services across participating states via telehealth.
Q: How long does therapy take?
A: Many clients experience meaningful shifts within 6–10 sessions. Others prefer longer-term work or even intensives. You're always in control of the pace and duration of our work together.
