Online Couples Counseling & Sex Therapy in Virginia.
Feeling like roommates instead of partners? Couples therapy can change that. Improve your relationship with yourself, your partner, and your sexuality.
Virginia carries a particular cultural weight when it comes to conversations about sex and relationships. From the Northern Virginia suburbs — where high-earning, high-performing couples often run on empty — to the more tradition-rooted communities in the Shenandoah Valley and beyond, the common thread I see in Virginia clients is a deep desire for connection paired with a real difficulty asking for help with the intimate parts of their lives.
Military and government communities are well-represented across Virginia, and I want to name something directly: the therapy-seeking process can feel especially fraught when there are concerns about privacy, security clearances, or professional reputation. Telehealth, accessed from your own home or private space, removes a lot of those logistical and perceived risks. Everything we do together is confidential and HIPAA-compliant.
While there is access to strong healthcare systems and university communities across Virginia, those resources don't always translate into accessible, specialized sex and couples therapy. I hold licensure in Virginia through PsyPact, which means I'm fully authorized to see clients statewide, and I bring a level of specialization that's hard to find locally, regardless of where in the state you live.
Sex Therapy in Virginia: Specialized Help, Statewide
Something about your relationship, sex or feels stuck.
When we’re disconnected, emotionally or sexually, it’s exhausting, confusing, and isolating. When your relationship is feeling more like a battleground than a place of comfort or connection, it chips away at you, bit by bit. Most of the couples I work with have tried everything to fix that disconnect and haven’t been able to break out of those painful cycle.
The people who come to me who are struggling with their sexual connection often haven't talked about this with anyone. Not fully. Sex is one of the most human parts of life — and one of the hardest things to ask for help with.
Whether you're struggling alone or with a partner, you don't have to keep carrying this quietly.

Finding a therapist who is genuinely specialized in sex therapy and couples work is harder than it should be. And finding one who is licensed in your state and available in a reasonable timeframe can feel nearly impossible.
That's exactly why I built my practice around telehealth.
Whatever you’re dealing with as a couple or struggling with as an individual, you don’t have to figure it out alone. From emotional disconnect, desire discrepancy or sexual dysfunction, to communication breakdowns or trust issues, and the stuff that’s just hard to talk about with a therapist who doesn’t get it. I welcome all identities, orientations, and relational structures. Whoever you are, however you show up, you’ve come to the right place.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Do you offer in-person sessions in Virginia?
A: All sessions are online via telehealth. This makes specialized care accessible statewide — without the cost, commute, or logistical complexity of in-person therapy.
Q: Do you take insurance?
A: I am an out-of-network provider. Many clients use their out-of-network benefits or FSA/HSA accounts. I provide superbills for insurance reimbursement upon request.
Q: What are your fees?
A: My fees for a 90-minute couple’s intake are $360, a 55-minute individual intake is $225, and all subsequent sessions (couples OR individual) are $225.
Q: Are you licensed to see clients in this state?
A: Yes. I hold licensure to practice in Virginia through PsyPact, which allows me to provide psychology services across participating states via telehealth.
Q: How long does therapy take?
A: Many clients experience meaningful shifts within 6–10 sessions. Others prefer longer-term work or even intensives. You're always in control of the pace and duration of our work together.
