Finding a therapist who is genuinely specialized in sex therapy and couples work is harder than it should be. And finding one who is licensed in your state and available in a reasonable timeframe can feel nearly impossible.
That's exactly why I built my practice around telehealth.
Whatever you’re dealing with as a couple or struggling with as an individual, you don’t have to figure it out alone. From emotional disconnect, desire discrepancy or sexual dysfunction, to communication breakdowns, trust issues or life transitions, and the stuff that’s just hard to talk about with a therapist who doesn’t get it. I welcome all identities, orientations, and relational structures. Whoever you are, however you show up, you’ve come to the right place.
YOU’RE NOT ALONE
You might be here because
Your relationship is marked by distance, tension, or disconnection.
There are old, unhealed hurts, wounds, or betrayals
You and your partner can't seem to find your way back to each other
Desire feels mismatched, confusing, or has disappeared entirely
Sex feels pressured, avoided, painful, or disconnected
You're navigating shame around your sexuality, identity, or desires
Past experiences or trauma are showing up in your intimate life
You're curious about your sexuality or relationship structure and want a safe space to explore
You want more — more connection, more pleasure, more honesty
Something about your relationship, sex or feels stuck.
When we’re disconnected, emotionally or sexually, it’s exhausting, confusing, and isolating. When your relationship is feeling more like a battleground than a place of comfort or connection, it chips away at you, bit by bit. Most of the couples I work with have tried everything to fix that disconnect and haven’t been able to break out of those painful cycle.
The people who come to me who are struggling with their sexual connection often haven't talked about this with anyone. Not fully. Sex is one of the most human parts of life — and one of the hardest things to ask for help with.
Whether you're struggling alone or with a partner, you don't have to keep carrying this quietly.

Frequently Asked Questions

I don't bill insurance directly. For the kind of work we do together, that's intentional. Sex therapy and couples therapy is rarely covered by insurance and many of my clients prefer not to attempt to file at all for privacy or discretion.
That said, I provide Superbills upon request for every session. A Superbill is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company yourself for possible out-of-network reimbursement. A quick call to your insurer before we start (make sure to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits) can give you a clearer picture of what to expect.

Individual intakes are $225 for 55 minutes. Couples intakes are $360 for 90 minutes. All follow-up sessions (individual or couples) are $225 for 55-minutes.
Payment is due at the time of service, and superbills are available upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

Yes. All sessions are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant video. No commute, no waiting room, no running into someone you know. You can join from your home, your car, your office — wherever feels private and comfortable for you.
I’m licensed in North Carolina and New York and, as a PsyPact member, I'm able to practice across 43 states, which means wherever you are, there's a good chance we can work together. All you need is a device with a camera and a reliable internet connection.

That's more common than you might think and honestly, many of my clients come to me having tried therapy before but never finding someone who actually specializes in sex and intimacy. You don't need any prior therapy experience. The free 20-minute consultation is specifically designed to give you a feel for the process, a sense of who I am, ask any questions you have, and we’ll decide together if it feels like a good fit. There's no commitment and no pressure.
-
Yes, completely. As a licensed psychologist I'm bound by strict confidentiality laws. What you share in session stays between us, with very limited legal exceptions (which I'll explain clearly when we start). Because I'm private pay, your insurance company has no visibility into your care, no access to your records, and no say in your treatment. For many clients — especially those navigating sexuality, identity, or relationship concerns — that privacy is a meaningful part of why they choose this kind of care.

Typically within one to two weeks. There's no long waitlist here: once we connect on a consultation call and decide we're a good fit, we'll get your first session on the calendar right away. If you're ready to stop waiting and start actually working on this, the best first step is grabbing a free 20-minute consultation slot.
You’ve been carrying this long enough.
A free 20-minute consultation is a low-pressure way to ask questions, get a feel for the work, and see if we're a good fit. There's nothing to lose — and potentially everything to gain.
